Marking the International Women’s Day, peasant women from Central Luzon and Southern Tagalog, rural women and agrarian reform advocates joined the protest in Liwasang Bonifacio and Mendiola in Manila calling for land, food and justice. The protest is also a part of the Women’s Global Strike led by women from different sectors across the globe to advance equality, development and peace for all women.
